I'm glad for him. I don't think he did so bad considering the O-line problems.

Payton needed someone to wash his truck

Back on the potty seat. That can't bode well for the rest of his development.

Everyone said he'd take 2 or 3 years to develop. Now he's a bust because he 's in year 3 and isn't a top 10 starter?

I'd venture to say that 3rd round QB's have about a 1 in 10 chance of becoming a starter. He's no different. Should we stop drafting QB's until Drew retires?

This again? You can take low risk guys in the later rounds every year. Or you can take one in the first round where the chances are much higher for success. Drafting one in the third round is passive aggressive. There are a lot of quality interior lineman in that area. Most of us wanted to see the team move in that direction. Instead they drafted a QB to sit around.

There's no exact science to drafting any position. But I think it's fair to question the wisdom of that pick.

He's hoping Brees will "rub off on him" if he's around long enough. He's working to get his wax swirls into a nice, tight spiral.

I dont see him being anymore than a number 2. My hope is he shows something in preseasin that somebody bites on a trade

Give him time.

I understand the pick at the time. But i just see the same errors being made by him. He spent a year with Brees and personally ive not seen much improvement. Makes sense putting him on the PS,but next preseason will make or break him

The one that gets me is that interception vs Steelers

During the play he has a ton of time, literally 4-5 seconds, but his problem (which was noted on his scouting report) was he doesn't go through his progressions well.

He just stared down the crossing receiver and threw it straight to the Linebacker.

Should've kept Griffin and used that 3rd rd pick elsewhere

They need a practice QB. But, I said it when they drafted him and I certainly haven't seen anything to change my mind on the guy. It was a bad pick.

That pretty much sums up player development in the NFL!
