The Buffalo Spiller is better than Murphy or Lasco as a 3rd down back, no question. And I think thats what we all thought we were finally getting. But something was obviously wrong. Was it attitude, health? My guess is a combination of several things and since Murphy and Lasco excel at special teams, he was the most expendable.

It might still be true that Spiller >>> Murphy and Lasco as a starting RB in 2016, but not so much in overall team value when you throw in future potential and special teams.

So, did I successfully crawfish outta that one???:p

What really make this a surprise, correct me if I'm wrong but since he wasn't cut before the season start don't that make part of contract guaranteed

Fully guaranteed. That's where we don't know what they know. There is more to this story than we will find out any time soon.

To be honest lee he could be used the way we used PT, thats why I thought he was here to do. I don't know if the clowns will pick him up I hope they don't.
