Spiller was a starter and Cadet has never been more than a spot player. As a starter you are going to have chances. But, Spiller in his SIX years had only one season with more than 269 yards receiving. Both Bush and Sproles averaged over 700 yards every season. He also has never had more than two receiving TD's in a season. Much inferior in the passing game.

We ran the ball 13 times and threw the ball 44 times

In a tight game like this with anyone not named Cooks or Snead dropping everything in sight, that is simply not good enough.

We could have chewed some serious clock if we established the run.

You can't run the ball on third and seven.

They ran it virtually every first down in the first half.

Just had a look on the play by play and out of 13 first down plays we had in the second half, we ran the ball 4 times.

So in the first half we ran the ball 9 times, not checked what downs they were on though.

True, but Spiller was used FAR more often than Cadet.

If the Saints pick up after themselves like this Saints Fan above, there is hope.
