Adding more news...

They are saying he\'s possibly going to the Vikings and a Darius for Surtain is in the workings.

\"AP reports there seems to be trade interest in Houston Texans LB Jamie Sharper. The Bengals and Seahawks are among the teams most interested. It will cost a middle round choice -- possibly a fourth -- to get Sharper, who is being replaced by LB Morlon Greenwood.\"

Are you kidding me... that\'s freaking it?!?! Heck I\'ll throw in a pick next year too just because we\'d rob em!

Heck yeah...sign him up..we have two new safeties..and can totally focus on LB in the draft...

I hope they jump all over it..

Though they probably feel pretty good about the signings they have made thus far...

Is there even an inkling of a chance that Smith (DE) may still be considered to move to LB?

I know the thought has run through the minds of the coaches...but..With the certain departure of Howard...how realistic would that choice be now?

Personal opinion - no chance.

The guy was a \'tweener coming out of college mostly b/c he\'s a little undersized and has incredible athletic ability. NFL players get bigger - it\'s just the nature of the profession. The guy already weighs 280 pounds. That\'s HUGE for a LB. Too huge. I don\'t think there\'s any argument that he handled himself just fine on the D-line going up against Tackles. That\'s exactly where he\'ll stay. Just my two cents.
