Saints to add former Tulane DE Royce LaFrance to practice squad
 

The Saints will add former Tulane defensive end Royce LaFrance to the practice squad, according to a source for NOLA.com.

The Saints had an opening on the practice squad after the promotion of special teamer Jake Lampman to the 53-man roster.

The Saints had LaFrance in for a three-day rookie minicamp in May and for another minicamp in June.

LaFrance played in high school at Helen Cox. He finished at Tulane ranked third in school history in sacks with 20 and fourth in tackles for loss with 37.

Looks like he has insane speed off the line. Hopefully he can provide some good depth.

Practice squad? This kid is a beast!! Should be a stater. I'll bet you he's the fastest DE on the team. Pure ball hawking skills. Mark my words.....next great thing.

Would love to see him work out.
We need to find a nut every now and then to keep hope alive.
May have to bulk up to play on the edge with the BIG boys.
