Joe Haden is a fine player...but the problems defensively aren't all on the cornerback play...it's more of the pass rush, or the lack thereof...

Im glad it didnt happen

Haden contract is valued well above his play of late. CB go downhill fast,that solit second loss of pace and they get run ragged especially in a division with the talent at size of WR as the NFC South.

I understand the logic of trying to improve the team, but I don't get why go after a player who's been battling injuries for the past couple years? Top that off with a high salary, just not sure. I am always happy to see efforts to improve the team, but perhaps even more happy this deal did not get done.

Haden is good but probably in decline. Can't risk adding more dead money.
