Loss to Oakland with scrub corners on a 2 point conversion. Loss to Denver on a blocked kick where the ref stood behind the defensive lineman that pushed the snapper to the ground by his head and the returner was OOB. Last night's kick was on Lutz for not getting the ball up. The team has fought through major adversity and is improving.

Also, Lutz is still a young kicker and will get better as time goes on. The potential is definitely there, he just needs some refining. Get Morten Andersen in to give him some extra coaching.

Geaux Saints.

Saints 7-3

7 points to Giants on a field goal block return for a td
D kept NY out of the endzone

Broncos meltdown game winning pa

Panther field goal block

Why hasn't this been corrected the first time it happened?

Fire the coordinator

Go for it on 4th and goal within the 5
At least you aren't giving up points

Does Tom Dempsey have a grandson? If you guys and gals couldn't already tell I am very upset today. The Saints are finding ways to lose every week and it's not funny anymore. Payton needs to right the ship now. Does anyone else think he's becoming soft on coaches and players?

Payton lost his bottle after the suspension, he doesn't have the balls to do what's right and fills his coaching staff with his college buddies. It's a complete mess.

Re: Saints Self-Sabotage Again

The game has obviously outgrown these old coaches like McMahon and Vitt. We need a fresh new energy in house. I think Ireland has done wonders for this defense.
They need to eject all these cronies with young replacements with passion, coaching skill and a plan to succeed. Loomis better have his men looking for the best replacements right now so when the axe drops we have their qualified replacement.

Bill Johnson may have earned an extra year with Onyemata and Davison earning valuable and impactful snaps. I was calling for his head last year. Fairley, Rankins, Onyemata, Davison and Jordan are a great team on the D-line at getting pressure. Payton may keep Johnson around even though a lot of people were calling for his head earlier.

My biggest fear is that Payton will think the rest of his cronies can turn things around too if he sticks with them long enough and gives them some talent to work with. He is well known for his loyalty to people in his organization. I'll give him that. But I won't give him a pass if he doesn't fire McMahon.

We're losing two more games. It would be the first time in our franchise history we swept a conference division if we beat both LA and Arizona. Also, we can't go 4-2 in division.

Re: Saints Self-Sabotage Again

Off point a little but it seems like a few ex saints player are doing pretty well now.

Rafael Bush has multiple ints and ran one back today
Malcolm Jenkins has multiple ints and pick 6's
Casillas (wasnt a fan) is part of a great NY D
We are missing someone like Darren Sproles very badly

Rob Ryans D allowed 12 points today...
