yeah Skip, NFL players never have an ego. Only coaches and executives. When the NFL stops giving players paychecks for, I don't know, doing their jobs as well, then we may exonerate them.
Until then, we will continue losing games because of the simple things when we had won them doing the complicated things. This is a lack of on-field focus by the players who then have no problem remembering their payroll checks. It is a privilege to annually complain about not getting paid enough to play football for a living. Let's get right.
This easy trend of blaming coaches too readily by pundits gets a little passé.

If we look at the overall BIG picture for this franchise, it's been the personnel decisions, dead cap issues, bad drafting & over all talent. Small picture, yes the horrible special teams play & turnovers has cost us games (at least 2). .500 or below is unacceptable at any level.

This could possibly end up being the worst team season under Sean Payton.
