I\'ve tried to defend Venturi, but only because he has been defensive coordinater for 1 year and that\'s not enough time. If the defense doesn\'t finish 15th or better, then I say goodbye.

An uniformed fan coud be a fan that continually bashes a coaching staff that took over argueably the worst team in the leage a few years back and turned it around.

An uninformed fan could be a fan that can\'t see that the Saints are very close to putting together a super bowl team.

An uninformed fan could be a fan that thinks the defense is going to be terrible because of the first preseason game.

He realizes that we might not have the best coaching staff in the league, but they have done a pretty damn good job.

He realizes that if the defense has improved this year that we have a very good chance of going to the super bowl.

Now call me crazy, and I\'m sure that you will, but that\'s telling it like it is.

They want to tell you that with all the talent we have it MUST be coaching that is the problem. They don\'t want to be reasonable and give the coaches some time. Nope!!

They think with just the right coach and the right scheme that this team would have been much better. They have nothing to base this off of, that\'s just the way they feel.
