Payton to LA makes too much sense. They want to make a splash and he's the rock star, hard-partying head coach who likes to pal around with celebrities.

Everyone knows the dude likes to party too much. I think it is affecting him. This job gives him a nice secure job where he can get comfortable.

Like they say crap rolls downhill. I would start with Mickey Loomis and work my way down. I don't think there are a lot of teams that would give up anything for him either. I also think it is one more shot for them but who knows for sure.
