Isn\'t he a taller faster verion of Michael Clayton, but with better hands?
Yeah ... in college. It\'s always interesting to see how the \"next great thing\" struggles when they come to the NFL. Not saying he will, but it wouldn\'t surprise me one bit.

1) Ignore Joe\'s whining
2) Fine him for missing mini camps
3) Welcome him back to the team in August
4) Let him play the season
5) Tag him
6) Trade him (to Atlanta for Keith Brooking :D )

Right now I wouldn\'t want to trade him as this would shake up our offense badly, he\'s worth what he will make this year UNDER HIS CURRENT CONTRACT.

I was referring to the Buc\'s WR Mike Clayon from LSU.

LOL I can\'t believe Gumbo was complaining about 4.56/4.6 speed or whatever. Let me remind you Anquan Boldin, Jerry Rice, Michael Clayton, etc... not exactly your burners there either. :o I think straight line speed is over rated.

Mike Willams will be an all-pro for years to come. Within the first 3 years of him being in this league, he will be a Probowler at least once. You are going to be eating your words :P

But Gumbo\'s right on one thing, that is kinda too much for Mike Williams. Giving up an extra pick... nah I\'ll pass too. Pretty sure a 1 for 1 isn\'t going to happen because of Horn\'s age and contract he is going to receive, a second round pick seems to be fair.

Read people!!! I said Joe and a first next year. How the hell is that too much to get Mike Williams? We would have that first, our first this year, 2nd and 3rd. AND whatever we get for Howard. How is it better to give Joe and a 2nd THIS YEAR as deep as this draft is on defense? We make that trade, we won\'t even be concerned about next year\'s first. Joe and a first NEXT YEAR to move into the top 7 for Williams? Too much? Man do we overvalue Joe.

Nevermind I just went back and read it... I can see what you are trying to do. I like it... but I would think the other team would want to have a chance of drafting this guy too. Horn does want an extension and who would want a 30 plus year old receiver with a large contract compared to a monster young receiver with a much smaller contract? What teams actually have the cap space to do this deal now? There has been some hefty spending out there and team probably would want to hold on to their cap space to fill out the rest of their rosters and sign draft picks.

Only took a glance at it earlier :P Bite me.

Don\'t talk to me about a WR unless he is 22 years old, 6\'4\", 225 lbs., has 4% body fat, benches 450, runs a 4.21 40, naturally excretes stick \'em from his hands, and is willing to sign a lifetime contract granting exclusive rights to the Saints for the league minimum. Oh, he also has to be certified by UN\'s leadership council, spend his off-time totally silent in seminary, have an IQ of 140 or more, and be named Randy Owen Harrison. Anyone else isn\'t worth more than a 6th round pick and some beef jerky.
