RB Anthony Thomas a Saint?

From the Pro Football War Room:

Bears free agent Anthony Thomas will be a veteran greatly affected by the depth of the running back draft class. As teams wait to evaluate the rookie prospects, Thomas has found limited interest to date. Expect him to wind up in New Orleans on a veteran minimum deal before the draft as the Saints decide to spend draft choices on defense -- again. .
League minimum for the A-Train isn't bad.

For the league minimum, we can keep both and let them compete. At least we know that Stecker can also return kicks.

I think he\'d be a good pick up, Stecker is more a change of pace back, and a killer special teamer.

You won\'t hear me complaining. Good pick-up if we can get him. I think he would be a pretty solid back-up and do some spot duty now and then.

Thomas at the two and Stecker at the three and special teams. Things are starting to look as if we are going to spend all of our draft picks on defense. I would love to get Thomas for the league minimum, what a steal.
