Remember years ago when we all changed our avatar to the player we wanted at #1?

One I recall using: Clay Matthews. And I haven't gotten a linebacker I've wanted (other than Stephone) since.

This is my year. Reuben is coming to New Orleans.

My gut tells me Foster will either be selected before #11 or we go another route with that pick. Who would be your 2nd choice? Barnett? Bowser? Thomas?

28FEB combine starts. Interested in seeing if this order gets shaken up more than usual. For one, if Fournette runs a sub 4.4 and looks completely healthy it could create a large wake which is good for us. If Cook moves up even better for us.

Remember that draft all too well and you weren't the only guy to change it to Clay Matthews...

I'm still in therapy for taking Mr. Bowtie from Ohio St over Goldilocks from SoCal...

That was one of my worst man-crushes in a draft...but we were both right...

That is scary. the only player I have ever heard compared to Ware is

Takkarist McKinley DE UCLA 6021 258 4.62 #98 Sr
"could be the next DeMarcus Ware." LMAO? pass-rushing specialist? One trick pony? Over hyped? I lean to yes on all questions

Rather roll dice later in the draft on

Jordan Willis WDE/OLB Kansas St 6041 250 4.67 #75 Sr
HGT WGT HAND ARM WING
6036 255 10 33 1/4 80 1/4

Derek Barnett broke Reggie White's career sack record at Tennessee. Nothing to scoff at for sure.

I like all our potential options in 1&2. We can also go OL late and still hit pay dirt. The stars seem to be lining up well for us in best avail vs need which seems to seldom happen for us.

+1 Beast. Barnett's production is also on point. 3 straight seasons of 10+ sacks? That doesn't happen by accident.

Side note - Barnett broke Reggie's sack record in 3 years. The great RWhite played 4 years at Tennessee.

Pick #11 is gonna be very interesting.

I might be wrong but I think he's the only player in SEC history to have 10+ sacks in 3 different seasons. That's just incredible!

Danny Weurffel was great in college too!

Don't see Barnett's game translating to the NFL; his production was in bunches, not every game...

Barnett's too small to hold the edge in a NFL 4-3 and too slow to cover as a 3-4 NFL LBer...

And we already had that player in Galette, who also had issues holding the corner...

Galette was often gashed on run plays by kicking him out with even an average tackle...

All Junior wanted to do was pin his ears back and rush the passer EVERY play, ignoring other assignments...

Need a more complete defensive end to bookend with Cam Jordan, not a pass rush specialist with a first round pick...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
