The Saints have around $14 million in roster bonuses on remaining players. I'm not sure of the timing involved, but they can be converted to signing bonuses at the discretion of the team and amortized over the remainder of the player's contract. This can free up as much as $7-$8 million in additional space.

Loomis always has this avenue available as he commonly includes this in contracts. There are also restructures and extensions that can be negotiated to free up quite a bit more space, if required. Caps are very fluid in the NFL. Sites like Over the Cap and Spotrac only show a snapshot, not what is truly available.

In other words, the Saints have plenty of room to stay relevant this off-season.
