Jammal Brown is neither a defensive lineman nor from Georgia. He is also not a reach at the 16 spot.

Barrett Ruud would actually be a good pick in the 2nd, won\'t happen. (See Stinchcomb, Henderson)

I can\'t wait until baronm sees this. I can see it now, \"Ruud will not be there in the second round, if we want him we\'re gonna have to trade up into the top ten\".

Similar to what i had. Although i would go with the CB Bartell in the 3rd and get the Qb from harvard (Fitz) in the 6th. I watched Orvlosky in the Senior Bowl practices and he looked really bad. I would give that draft an A though!!!!!

I usually get soft during the summer.

I put this mock together, without any trades.
Ideally, I would trade the 3rd for two picks, and try and nab Walter Washington (QB) and Matt Jones (WR/TE), and tell Jones to start packing on the weight. But he\'s one of those that is climbing up some boards, so he might not be there, anyways.

I don\'t think Baron will be there that late in the first..but it\'d be a good pick.

I don\'t like the qb...actually I like him less than cambell. fitzgerald has been my pick at qb all along...

don\'t know most of the others...but if we could get a OT and a couple of linebackers that would be a good draft:

my go as far as what they are thinking I have no clue..but I would not be the least bit suprised to see carlos rogers in the first and the lineman from mississippi in the second followed by jason cambell in the third.

1. rogers\'
2. johson (i think)
3. cambell
4. McCune

WHat I hope will happen is we get more picks and something like this happens:
1. baron
1b/2a: Jason Tuck/burnnett
2: burnett/blaystock
3. stubblefeild
4. jordan beck
5. moats
6. fitzgerald
7. roos

I doubt most of these guys will be here when I have them..but we can dream can\'t we.

...because I wouldn\'t expect anything less. My projected Saints draft.

1. Jammal Brown- OT
2. Barrett Rudd- LB
3. Dan Orlovsky- QB
4. Vincent Jackson- WRStrengths: Excellent size and height...Good speed...Very good athletic ability...Strong...Has good hands...Will jump over defensive backs to make the grab...Also a good punt returner...A playmaker who has a knack for making the big play and scoring touchdowns.
Weaknesses: Did not play against a top level of competition...May be too big to play wideout in the pros and could grow into a tight end...Isn\'t a great route runner and doesn\'t look smooth...Inconsistent and needs to show more effort...Isn\'t much of a threat to run after the catch.
Notes: Prospect with a lot of upside and potential...Also played basketball in college...One of the top sleeper prospects in the draft and a player on the rise.

5. Cornelius Wortham- LB Strengths: Has pretty good athletic ability...Very strong and is a stud in the weight room...Active and is all over the field...Works hard and is a team leader.
Weaknesses: Lacks top size...Will struggle in coverage and doesn\'t look fluid...Missed the entire 2003 season with a dislocated elbow...Doesn\'t always seem to grasp the defensive scheme.
Notes: Did a nice job coming back from the injury and had a good senior campaign, leading the Crimson Tide in tackles...Has the tools to make it at the next level.

6. Matt Grootegoed- SStrengths: Very physical...Tough, hard-nosed player...A playmaker who is always around the ball...Excellent tackler...Extremely instinctive...Team leader and captain.
Weaknesses: A LB / S \'tweener who will have to make a position change in the pros...Coverage ability will be a major question mark...Doesn\'t have great speed.
Notes: Classic overachiever who doesn\'t have the physical tools you look for but it simply a football player...Will get a shot but most likely not until later in the Draft.

7. Larry Burt- DTStrengths: Extremely strong and can be an immovable object in the middle...Good size with the frame to add some weight...Runs and moves well...Has pretty good natural athleticism and quickness.
Weaknesses: Is not much of a pass rush threat...Needs to play with better leverage...Technique needs to be refined and worked on...Inconsistent and will disappear for stretches.
Notes: Developing player who has gotten better with each season...Has the type of size, speed, athleticism and strength that will be very appealing come Draft Day.
- Scott Wright

Have at it, hyenas.
alabama had a great defense this year..so any defensive player from bama would be welcome..esp. bryant and the linebacker you named..good find.

don\'t really care for the safety pick..there will be better ones availabe as well as the quarterback..would rather have fitzgerald.

He\'s a project. He was an undersized linebacker that\'s projected at strong safety in the NFL. He\'s a football player, but he\'ll need to work on his mechanics and needs experience. He\'s not fast, but he\'s not slow either.
Orlovsky was not my top pick, Frye was, but I don\'t think he will be there when we pick in the 2nd round. Washington and McPherson would be my picks after that, then Fitz. But we need somebody, anybody, to come in a push Brooks.
And I don\'t think Barron with be there eiher, that\'s why I have Brown as my first.

The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know...
