Absolutely. Dallas is putting pressure on the Saints by essentially saying, \"We don\'t think Howard is worth what you\'re asking, so go ahead an keep him and his big cap hit.\"

The Saints should do the same, essentially saying, \"Fine. I thought we were close, but I guess we\'ll just trade him to your division rival instead. Hope Bledsoe learns how to scramble this offseason!\"
Yep, lets see if Washington or New York or Philly would like a high quality DE. I like it. i don\'t think lil Danny Boy would have any trouble shelling out a pick or two.

Imagine the Statue versus Strahan and Howard. OUCH!

Ya see Jerry, the upside of keeping Howard greatly outweighs the downside. Its simply convenient for us to shop him. We are in no hurry lizard face.

I think it\'s more like parcells knows that with a good linebacker AND a pick we coudl getr much better fast...much more than the will with howard.

The only reason I want to see the trade happen is to free up some cap money to get deals done with other player. I still like DH bc he is a great player but no team really needs three DE\'s. Now that being said, if we do trade him and one of our guys goes down with a injury we will all be back here saying, we should not have gotten rid of him.

I think Willie Whitehead could spot start, and maybe do decent as a back up. I think our second plus howard get us a top 15 pick, being that 2nd is right at the beginning of the second round. if not, than howard and a 3rd for a lower 1st. I like howard too, but with your back-up putting up some really good numbers (including led league in forced fumbles) I think its time to part with DH.
