Saints start offseason workouts

Although Willie Snead hasn't been signed, he was in attendance. Also TE Josh Hill and cornerback PJ Williams.

The offseason program is broken into three phases. The first, which began Monday and runs for two weeks, consists of strength and conditioning drills.

The second stanza includes on-field work, limited to individual drills, and runs for two weeks. Team drills and contact are not allowed during this period.

The third phase is OTAs and the mandatory minicamp. This period runs for four weeks, and team drills are permitted, but contact is not allowed.

We can see them more at training camp now that they are back home in Metairie. Last year Fleener looked lazy. I can't wait to see if there is any noticeable body language change with him going into his second year.

I am also excited to see how the new players look with new coaches giving the orders. It's the same defense........but this year we cleaned out the IR roster, we brought in free agents and we still get our draft picks to implement DA's scheme effectively.
