How many more trades will the Saints be involved in the 2017 NFL draft?

Not counting the Redskins having our fifth from last year's trade

Not counting the Cooks trade with New England

We will make 2 trades... This draft is deep on defense and we need to trade some of next years 3,4,5 picks for this year simply because Brees is not getting younger. We need a defense now.

Does that mean we won't take a QB, TE or RB early? This is Payton we're talking about.

I'd be shocked if we took a QB before our first pick of the third round...

I'm thinking Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly, we acquire him with a fifth round pick gotten in trade...

I expect Payton to borrow from the future, again...

If he flops, he leaves nothing for his successor, secures that coach's failure so he doesn't look as bad...

I think he's looking for the Win Now only and could care less about any successor. I'm just counting on him finally getting some great advice as to who he's borrowing the future for.

I say we stand pat at eleven because we get no offers and get some twos and threes for #32.
