It's far too early to handicap any of the New Orleans Saints' position battles for training camp, but one spot likely will be the most hotly contested.

The Saints currently have 10 linebackers, and most of them have some NFL experience and the ability to play multiple roles. After some struggles with depth at the position last year, the Saints hope linebacker can be a strength in 2017.

Position of strength?

The DL must keep the them clean. Something they failed at doing last year. The saints really did not address this issue again this year. fingers crossed

Position that has been stabilized is more what I am looking for this year

The LB group will be really interesting to follow in camp and preseason. I think there is a clear possibility that all the day one starters this year will be fresh faces.

Having a new LB coach it's only right that we stock the cupboard for him. We can't just give him a couple of mules and ask him to win the Derby!

Many of the Saints linebackers have at least some history of the injury bug, if healthy then should be good to go.

Watched Anzalone on YouTube seems real adept at rushing the QB.

We have had injuries at some of the positions in the past but we have depth for a change.
