Re: Travaris Cadet on the Trade Block

He plays every ST unit and is a quality scat back option. It's likely he's a throw in on a bigger trade, and at least worth a conditional 6th or 7th rounder.
I just don't understand the hate.

He's no superstar but he is consistent when called on. I don't get the hate either but I also don't get why he was signed to anything longer than a year either.

Re: Travaris Cadet on the Trade Block

There is literally no hate on this thread. There is the realization that cadet's trade value is next to nil. If we get something I think it is utterly fabulous, but wouldn't expect it.

Another screw up by the front office. Who signs a longer than 1 year deal with a glorified special teams player? Oh, that would be us....meh. Loomis used the Saints for on the job training is all I can say. Granted, this is not a lot of coin but still, why?

Cap hit is only $80K. $615K in cap savings if traded or cut. He signed his one year deal BEFORE (March 15th) the Saints knew they were going to be drafting Kamara. That happens all the time with every club in the NFL.
