I have been saying this. With health this oline could be our best in years, and the backs we have now...this could be a very effective running team. If that happens that alone could steal us a couple of wins

I wonder if all the focus on the run game and the relative success of the defense has anything to do with Brees play dropping off.....

I have seen, nor heard, of any indication of Brees' play dropping off. More of your negative vision, Dude?

A strong run game benefits any quarterback; even the likes of Brees or Brady... :rolleyes:

No I think it comes from the knowledge that we are at our best when we are running effectively and that also helps the defense. If Drew is hard to stop when you know he is going to pass what is your answer when you're not sure what we are going to do? Play action opens up. How many times have we seen Drew throw a 40-50 yard TD off of play action?
