Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro hasn't met any of his goals yet

Kenny Vaccaro has had four productive seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He's also one of the few young players on the roster with playoff experience having played two postseason games as a rookie.

But, as Vaccaro looks toward his fifth season, he wants more. A lot more.

"I haven't met any of my goals, and it pisses me off, really," he said. "I want to really, really, really work hard this summer and prepare for the season that I need to have because I feel like a lot of people know it's in me. A lot of people know I'm good, but I haven't earned the respect that I need and I want that."

Well..if he didn't get suspended the last 4 games maybe he could have hit a goal or 2..just sayin! Hopefully, he can continue to improve and meet whatever goals he has.

If Vaccaro leaves, and actualizes his potential, it will bring down a waterfall of questions about the Saints, specifically Payton & Loomis, to assemble a defense...

But SP may have already hit two home runs in Mike Nolan & Ryan Nielsen; couple that with a Williams-Bell tandem, Vacarro's departure may be moot...

We can't keep drafting guys with first round picks like Mark Ingram and Kenny Vaccaro who take five years to develop, and then be hamstrung to re-sign them...

A lot of that had to do with defensive scheme. He was never put into the situation to succeed.
