One of the strongest FA years for defense for sure, fortunately that is exactly what we need. don\'t just mean the highlighted ones, the whole list is better on the defensive side of the ball.
There are lots of consolation prizes in that list if guys like Takeo Spikes and Chris McAllister resign with their respective teams.

I seriously doubt you\'ll see the Saints going after any DEs unless a guy like Hugh Douglas offers to play for free. There are plenty of LBs and Safeties, which is good, but you might notice that there isn\'t a DT on that list until number 34. There aren\'t a lot of DTs out there, which is too bad b/c that\'s a major weak point for the Saints also. Especially if Jackson can\'t get his weight down.

I like that the \"Great Dane\" made the list. He will be 43 next season ...
