I feel like I've been in the movie "The Serpent & the Rainbow"......but now I'm back!!!

I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't get into any debate. I'd read all the posts for the last year or so and almost never made a post or reply. But now I'm back....and I'm in the mood to chat.

A fond hello to all those that I recognize over the years, and a welcome hello to all those that I see post but have never talked to.....we will shortly.

Thanks for the welcome Whodat. I\'ve been keeping way too busy in business and everyday life. I have always stopped by here to check the news, see the flame wars, and watch Billy disappear then re-appear ;) (kidding buddy), but I just couldn\'t get into talking Saints.....even the poeple that knew me locally couldn\'t believe it was happening. I\'d watch everything, read everything, study everything, yet I never wanted to talk about it. No explanations or excuses...but I am me again and I\'m glad to be back and discussing that which I love most.

Welcome back Lumm0x. I\'m glad you\'re back. I\'ve always appreciated your thoughtfull input. It\'s much better than the \"I\'m going home and taking my ball with me\" schtick that\'s been on here as of late.

B&B: I got some stuff for ya....e-mail me your home address again to lumm0x@shaw.ca and I\'ll get it out there. You\'ll be pleased I\'m sure.

Billy: What do I think about the team? Well I\'m glad we have made some moves. I like the Dwight Smith signing although I thought we overspent a bit. He is a nice versatile player for the secondary though. His off field issues concern me, but I look forward to seeing him this year. Mayberry and Meier signings don\'t impress me, but any moves are progress. Neither stick out as blatant mistakes to me, but I have more of a *shrug* opinion on these.
I\'m really anticipating a move on Howard, and hope we address either CB or LB with this move. I\'d rather see it come pre-draft so I have a better indication which way we need to move with picks.
The way the D played the last few games makes me hope that we have gained some ground and I really believe that if we can even crack the top 20 in defense in rush D, total yrd D, and points against, that we have a legitimate shot at a playoff berth. We do need to work on getting out of the gate faster on offense though. It was so frustrating to always play from behind. I\'m actually glad McCarthy is gone. He drove me to fits.
