Yes depth is great. But with Vaccaro's contract almost up do we pay him $6-8 million/year to be depth?

I don't think Vaccaro warrants the kind of money Chris XVI is talking about. He is a tough guy but for that kind of money you have to be able to make interceptions and demonstrate great cover skills which I think he does not bring. If he finds a team that will give him that kind of money I would let him walk.

I'm not the biggest KV fan but that isn't the type of safety he is. His position as a strong safety is blitzing off the line, nickle formations & move/hybrid type player.

Saints rookie safety Marcus Williams is off to a good start at OTAs | Saints | theadvocate.com

I can't wait to see what Marcus Williams can do, the guy looks like an incredible athlete.

That is something that is needed in as many three safety sets as we employ. That just gives us another variation of the nickel. We can either go with three safeties or three CB's now depending upon the personnel of our opponent. We'll have three front line players at each discipline (Vacarro, Bell, M Williams and Breaux, PJ Williams, Lattimore).
