Furthermore, there is no way you can acurately tell if Brooks or any QB can read defenses by watching the game on TV.
You can do it watchin Peyton on t.v. , that man is just way to animated at times on the line ....

See that\'s the easy answer....I was going to mention Peyton but it would\'ve fallen on deaf ears(eyes).

It\'s easy after watching Brooks play what type of plays he excels in and what types he stuggles with. He seems to do well when the recievers are running timed routes and the ball is released within two seconds....short routes most often. These are basically routes where he doesn\'t have to think. Anything longer than that and he really struggles, if Horn isn\'t open. If we are going to keep this bum, then we have to taylor the playbook more to those type of plays that he can handle, and not try to make him into something that he\'s not. I have rarely seen any long passes (30+ yards)completed from him. Also, he only seems to target the number 2 reciever, TE and RB when they are the primary recievers for the play. How do I know when these players are the first option?? When Brooks throws to them one second after the snap, it can logically be assumed that that player is the primary reciever.

See now I would have gone with , Brooks plays the stopped receivers better .

Very rarely do I see Brooks go for a receiver on a fly pattern and hit the cradle in stride , not his style of passing , he has no touch on the ball .

Brooks loves those stop routes and hook routes and slants . Those throw to a fixed position players .

Tight ends disappear off the map in New Orleans , a not so agile receiver who might have trouble catching the laser passes .Imagine if you will , pounding your hands on Jevon Kearse for a few plays and then try to use them to catch a ball going a 100 m.p.h , a quarterback has to be smarter to utilize the tight end and take some rocket power off the ball going his way .
