Sheldon Richardson ? Any rumors of a trade?
 

With Fairley out a trade for Richardson would make sense. Who or what would he cost.
. Instant upgrade to D Line. JETS seem to be in a rebuilding mode. Richardson has been a outspoken problem but he plays at a high level and could be used at most positions on the D line. Any thoughts opinions?

Tempting with out a doubt. But I really like what I saw out of David Onyemata last night. yes he is raw but I am really impressed with the strides he made in his second year. He might be pushing for starter time by season end.

Pass rush skills look solid now but can he become a 3 down DT in the near future.

I do not like the cap hit

Richardson. He almost certainly means he wants more money than Muhammad Wilkerson ($17.2 million per year). Wilkerson's cap number next year is $20 million.

Is he willing to make a trade work?

Richardson said that the Jets received “good offers” for him, but two teams wanted him to agree to a pay cut as part of a potential trade.


Then there is

a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance policies. Is the second violation a 10 game suspension?

Jets choice: Richardson or Wilkerson?

I think there's a good chance Richardson will be gone by 2018
