Re: Saints Fire Orthopedists

Even Keenan Lewis came out and said our medical staff was terrible. Said they couldn't figure out why his knee kept getting inflamed over and over again and when he was released he went to steelers for a try out and they found he still had staples underneath. Sounded far fetch but in Breauxs case..how the hell do you misjudge a fractured fibula as a bruise.

What is also sad are these "mis diagnosis" may have been carrying over to some of the Pelican players as well. Q Pondexter, Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon etc., etc. I'm just glad this move (firing) was made.

Best wishes and healthy recovery Breaux. Hopefully we get him back sooner than later.

Keenan has certainly made an ass of himself recently with his outbursts, but his career was practically ruined by these people. Here's a response from him today...

I was waiting to post something with substance!

I noticed after the fact that my account was 4 years old with no posts.

But, that is on them for giving in if it was the case.
Yeah I kinda said it tongue and cheek, playing devil's advocate, but I've seen real scenerios like it before. It's unfortunate all three ways, Ochsner, Delvin, and the Saints.

I know there's pressure but you have to do the right thing -- but then Payton's also under pressure to win, and the injury thing is really bugging him.

So, really it's hard to point at one party saying, "everything's egregious!" when we can't possibly know all sides of the story.

Re: Saints Fire Orthopedists

This goes to what I was talking about in the Cardiovascular case for Fairley...

Eric Asher has been beating the desk with criticism about Ochsner Sports and their "partnership" with the Saints since the offseason...

Was he given a proper physical prior to signing that long-term contract?!?

The problem is Ochsner Sports Health and the Saints need to terminate their relationship and seek competent medical advice...
