This defensive line is shaping up to have far more potential than last season's, even without Fairley.

Yeah, read the same thing on another site. But as we all know, often a DT will make the play, but someone else records the stat.

I've heard he's played well applying pressure, setting the LB's up for the kill shot.

I may re-watch the game and focus on 91 to see if thats true. I have no problem with a DT not making the stat sheet as long as he's doing a great job setting the table for others to.

Some of you crusty old fans may remember the Dome Patrol D-Line was notorious for that.

Yeah and to have a smaller but more explosive guy in there on third and long is something I really like. Makes it tough for the interior OL.
