It also appears that Armstead's return may be a bit "sooner" rather than later. Really good news.

As long as he's completely healed up. I'd rather they err on the side of caution with him this season. There's a chance he'll be needed for the playoffs.

Market's going to be flooded with 1, 182 free agents on Friday... I would hate to be in charge of sorting through that mess to find possible additions.

I was wondering how much money Tom Benson will spend to evaluate other teams rosters and who could be a good fit in New Orleans if they get cut? Do they hire people to follow possible cuts? Do they read other teams chat boards to get a feel for players? I was just wondering how much effort the team puts into other teams possible cuts?

Every organization has a group whose job is to do that exclusively. Usually it's called pro scouting. You can find the bio for the Saints director of pro scouting, Terry Fontenot, here: New Orleans Saints: Terry Fontenot

And I seriously doubt pro scouts would waste their time reading fan forums. They have access to tape on every player in the league.

I didn't even get that far down the original post, Guido. Of course they are not going to waste time reading fans opinions of players.

Well if the other teams in the league had any sense, they'd read the B&G forums. The thinking fan's site.

1200 players all cut at once?

Chances are every player we target for our PS will be available.
