The other fact is, until you don't prove it on the field when it counts, everything is just speculation.

And third, it's freaking fantasy.
And the other fact is that only two defensive players remain from two years ago and two of the three defensive coaches are new this season and the third wasn't here two years ago. Therefore, basing anything upon what happened three or two or even one year ago has very little bearing upon what will happen this year.

That is the point I was trying to make. People are lazy.

You're talking about fantasy football, in general. I didn't ask why they talk about fantasy football (I don't live under a rock, bro), I asked why they think we want to watch them make selections for THEIR OWN teams. Who cares about somebody else's fantasy team?

That disrespect will be gone after we beat the Vikings 27-3 and the Patriots 35-17

Re: Lack of respect for the Saints out there in some venues

People are often too preoccupied with what happened last season and assuming the same things will generally hold. I love especially when they talk about strength of schedule as if they are assuming teams will be as good or as bad as they were last season. Problem is, "last season" was 9-12 months ago. There is very little carry-over from last year and yet people write off teams based on last season and the teams they see on paper. Like, the Jets and Bears might be horrible this year, but it's not as sure of a thing like most experts are making it to be.

I've never played FF, just something I never got into. I will say after a 2-0 start, beating the Champs, the drums will be heard.

From 2 years ago, off the top of my head, Jordan, Vaccaro, Kikaha, Anthony, Breaux were on the roster, so your first "fact" isn't a fact.

Then you omitted last year... why?

We all know that things can change in the NFL from one year to the other, and players/coaches come and go... BUT, again, you have to prove it on the field of play when it counts. And it's been a long time since the Saints fielded a decent defense. And until they field a decent defense when it counts, no one is going to acknowledge them for it.

And again, it is freaking fantasy. You are getting all worked up over what freaking fantasy "analysts" say.

'Cause the simple man pays the thrills, the bills and the pills that kill
