We're seeing much better drafts than we were three, four, five years ago...

Does the team still need organizational change, no doubt; but we've got better talent and better coaching than we had three years ago...

But things are transitioning and while emotions are rightfully running high after two nationally televised embarrassments, things are going to get better...
Are we going through pubescence? That what this feels like. I'm watching my boys grow up right in front of me. Now they better get their act together........

JP,

With all due respect, it's been 3+ years (see record) of sub par play performances, not just the first two nationally televised games. This team has been bad for a while.

I get it when have been bad for years now but I do agree we are watching some draft picks learning and growing. I see this turning abour but I am starting to question DA.

This is what all Sunshiners have gotten and will continue to get from Payton and Loomis.

We need to focus on Carolina and nothing else. A divisional W on the road would boost morale and provide momentum. Although the Panthers are 2-0 I don't see them with much momentum either (Tampa does).

Not to mention Carolina lost their key weapon in Greg Olsen to a broken foot. He is the one that always kills us.

Re: Somehow I don't think we are done

I agree. Minn has the 3rd best winning record at home and the Patriots are, well the patriots. So 0-2 is not a surprise. Now this team did absolutely NOTHING to prevent either of those losses, but if they can get in sync on both sides of the ball, they can get competitive. Not make a run, just get competitive.
Carolina lost Olsen, which is a huge advantage for us. If we are 2-2 going into the bye, which would be awesome, who knows. It's not time to throw in the towel yet.
