1. LaDainian Tomlinson
It's not too difficult to warm up to the thought of a touchdown every week.
2. Priest Holmes
Was on pace to eclipse 2003's records before the injury; can he bounce back again?
3. Shaun Alexander
If he thought there was a knife in his back at the end of the season, how he must love the franchise tag.
4. Willis McGahee
Suddenly, that draft pick isn't looking so wasted.
5. Edgerrin James
Will he stay in Indy or finagle a trade to South Beach?

15. Deuce McAllister
Can we trust the Saints\' new OC to give Deuce 20 carries a game?
Hmm, seems to be more of a result of a new OC than Deuce. Implies that were he to get more than 20 a game, he would be better. I can agree withthat.

We are talking about a ProBowler here... that\'s just someone\'s random opinion. Judging from stats alone from his injury year, can\'t say from 2004 alone that it isn\'t an accurate placement for him coming into the 2005 season. But by years end, he will be a top 5 back which he has proven he is.

I really think Deuce can bring it back this year, and I sure hope he does. If the rumors regarding a simplified playbook (and renewed focus on the run) prove true, Deuce could have a big year ahead of him.

Keepin\' the faith...

Hey Billy,

Do YOU agree with this statement?

16. Aaron Brooks
A threat to score for either team, Brooks is the leading cause of heart problems in fantasy owners.

Thats a bit high for a fat slow underachieving unmotivated slacker like Deuce McAllister. Guy hasn\'t done squat since he got here. Rickey was better than he was. We wasted a 1st rounder on this chump. He\'s a team fitness cancer. And now he\'s gonna want top 5 money. Ughh.
Fat McAllister, most over-rated RB this franchise has ever had.

Ooops, I guess I should have prefaced this with \"we\'re a .500 team over the last 4 years, and refuse to make any adjustments\"
I understand that you can make any rediculously false statements you want to as long as you first state this premise.
LOL

Man you guys are overly sensitive whenever you read something you deem an unfavorable assessment of the team or player.

I think they are basing it off of last season\'s results. He rushed for 1,074 yds. last season. While I think 15 is a little low, top 5 is definitely too high. Holmes ran for 892 playing in 8 games, which is only 182 yds. fewer in 6 fewer games? It\'s obvious that he very well would have led the league in rushing if he hadn\'t gotten injured. That\'s top 5 performance. I believe he\'s definitely one of the top 5 RBs in terms of talent, but his production didn\'t match that this past year. Is it his fault....no....but that doesn\'t change the results.

Don\'t worry about it GT. Danno tends to get crabby at this time of year. Dunno if he\'s just angry that the Saints wasted yet another FA period and haven\'t improved at key positions yet again in the offseason or what, but he just gets grumpy. He\'ll get really pissy after the draft when people criticize the picks, but he\'ll be OK by training camp.
