Luis Castillo, DT, Northwestern:… Defensive tackle has been the position of choice on draft day in the 2000s, however, it looks like something of a down year for the DTs at least in the opening round. Indeed, there are only a couple of DTs considered to be first-round locks this year and both have questions. Travis Johnson of Florida State, for example, has the complete physical package, but he hasn’t always played hard every down in the past, plus he’s got some off-field baggage. On the other hand, Shaun Cody of Southern Cal goes hard every snap, but may be a little too rangy to consistently dominate at the point of attack in the NFL; in fact, a lot of teams figure Cody would be better at DE, particularly in a 3-4 scheme, at the next level. Enter the Wildcats’ Castillo, a rugged interior defender with impressive 4 .85 speed and quickness for a 300-plus pounder. With NFL teams almost always on the lookout for help on the defensive fronts, look for Castillo to possibly start to figure in the mix in the latter half of the opening round.

i can\'t say i would jump on him (he\'s too big) but i wouldn\'t be disappointed either.

Pros: Good size and quickness, great strength. Used to be a wrestler, that has been credited by many top defenders, especially DT\'s, as having helped their game.
Cons: Not much bad to say about him, he just needs more exposure to the scouting community.

I say we need to take a DT in the first, dont know much about the DT\'s in the draft, but we need a playmaker at DT, someone that can stop the run. I know there hoping about JS but we cant hope and fail, and let RB\'s tear us up the middle again, And Imagine if JS comes around and we get a good one thru draft, and can use BY to rotate. (we\'d be set at DT for years). Bottom line is we cant let teams run on us at will anymore.
