Antowain Smith was able to lead his team to 2 Superbowls and he won both one of them.

LaDainian Tomlinson, well ....... let's just say he hasn't done as well as Smith in the playoffs.

Tomlinson in his only postseason game only rushed for 80 yds. on 26 carries. Smith rushed for 175 yds. in 2 Superbowls.

Why can't Tomlinson do what Smith did?

Let me hear it folks?

so if you had to sign today smith or tomlinson you would pick smith yea right.

Its about a team performance in playoff cant put all blame in LT\'s one playoff appearance.

At least I got LKelley67 to admit football is a team game.

I was under the impression that LKelly thought the QB was entirely responsible for winning and losing.

I see comparing Petyon to Warner made him think about that.

indeed tomlinson didnt put up the greatest performance in the playoffs but saying that Smith LED his team to two Super Bowl victories is false. He didn\'t lead anything. A contributor to some extent but not even close to anything resembling any possible reason for why the team he was on won 2 Super Bowls. :D

heck, i believe it is a team game so much i believe we could trade our qb and replace him with a journeyman and a fresh prospect in training and do as well or better. i don\'t bash him or count him as the ultimate source of failure. neither do i think he has provided what his position requires to bring sustained success to the team.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I\'m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
