Dang medical miracle. The new training staff is getting it done. I can't recall being 100 percent in my whole life. :)

He won't get much action. Still in the doghouse. Probably a couple of games of progression. I could see Ingram having a big game. Always does when the pressure is on and it is on now. Kamara is about to leap frog him. Willing to bet MI turns on the after burners this game and looks like a mad man.

I agree. We are going to see angry Mike. I like angry Mike.

He isn't. They don't know what they are talking about. They're just spotting more loser crap. He'll be a significant part of the offense.

We needed him. He went drinking and driving and said screw the team that is why. Others are on the field doing the right thing an we are also starting to win. He might get 2-3 targets. Next week 4-5. Have to re-earn what he broke. MI though is going to run lights out which is a beautiful thing. Kamara is as well. Going to be fun to watch. Snead will do next to nothing for a while.

Bullcrap. That is what you would do being petty. Our coaches, thank God, are more concerned with winning than fixating on an off the field happening. If he needs to be targeted 8-10 times this game to win he will be.

Okay, if it that did count against him I could see them using him through the season (he's too valuable not too) and then dumping him off after. Although I mostly see that happening to players who spout off rather a stupid **** up that he hopefully walks away from with a true life lesson.

It's not going to count against him at all. He is a weapon that Payton loves and we all know that Payton uses those weapons. Kamara and Snead are going to eat up the underneath, quick outs, screens and seams while opening up Thomas everywhere they want him. We are about to see the Saints offense open up with the final chess piece in place.

Re: Snead (Hamstring) Is Healthy for Week 6

Yea, Payton usually doesn't put players in the dog house for incidents like this. I think he realizes Snead is a young and made a huge mistake. I'm sure Payton chewed his ass, but he's not going to limit his role just as a form of punishment. The dog house is for players who mouth off, whine about injuries, and repeat stupid mental errors. He will see action. If he gets limited touches it will be about what the Lions defense is doing. Not what Snead has done.

Re: Snead (Hamstring) Is Healthy for Week 6

Saints have all players, including Terron Armstead, present for Wednesday practice | NOLA.com

Terron Armstead might be making his return to the Saints offensive line this week.

Armstead, who has worked ferociously to come back from the torn shoulder labrum he suffered in June, was one of two Saints (along with wide receiver Willie Snead) listed as limited on the injury report, and he participated in live dril

With right tackle Zach Strief on injured reserve, an Armstead return this week would be good news for the Saints.

"Daily progression, no setbacks," Armstead said. "Just trying to see as much as I can do every day and looking forward to Sunday. Don’t know exactly that will be, but looking forward to it."

Snead was limited with a hamstring injury. Cornerback Sterling Moore (chest), running back Trey Edmunds (concussion) and tight end Josh Hill (concussion) all practiced in full.

Breaux on IR? Guess he can't come back till later in the season anyway right?

Breaux is eligible after game eight. He can come off IR after six games and then must either be placed back on IR or added to the active roster after an additional two weeks practice determination.

Re: Snead (Hamstring) Is Healthy for Week 6

I will eat crow but I just don't see Snead involved that much this week.

He missed a lot of practice, like banned from the facility then the injury which he is still dealing with. That's 6 weeks of very limited practice. Kamara is also a big part of the passing game.

I would be surprised if he got more than 3 targets if the game does not get out of hand.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get targeted three times in the first half.

Yea I can see him getting thrown at less for this reason but not because he's in the doghouse.

Payton has a consistent history of sitting impact players that cannot produce at 100%. If Snead isn't completely ready to be fully involved he will not play. If he plays I expect him to be fully involved in the game plan. Just going off what I have seen in the past. I can see six catches for 80 yards and a TD.

Re: Snead (Hamstring) Is Healthy for Week 6

If healthy, he is better than Coleman, so of course he should see the field.
If he is not 100%, there's really no reason to throw him out there.

I agree with the above they say he will be involved early

The real question is how do you get hurt when you haven't played in a game since last season?

It's easy.....especially if it's a hamstring issue. They get tight unless you use them. And when they pop it'll put you on the ground.

This thread almost slipped off of the front page.

Not gonna do it.

That wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

I was watching a college game a while back where they had to sit their star DE because he'd broken his toe on his bed while walking around in the middle of the night... Stupid **** happens, frequently.

No poop!
Three months ago I tore a tendon in my thumb putting on a shoe.
Dumb poop happens.

I don't believe Snead had a bad hammy.
I think he was in the doghouse.

I was correct. No impact on the game. He even said it himself, he would be "eased" back into action. It will be several weeks before he is a factor again.

I seem to remember you saying Snead would have around three targets this week.

I could be wrong but I saw Snead targeted three times.

Well done Sir.

Slight smirk on my face but I got Ingram wrong. I thought Kamara would be hitting pay dirt. He still did well though. Also MT, not much action which was interesting.

It looked like Snead and Brees were a little out of sync. Hopefully they can get that worked on because we might need him more down the line.
