The same thing he has said all along. Repeatedly. Over and over. Why? Because it is the truth. As much as you apparently wish he was gone Brees simply doesn't feel the same way. You even claimed beyond a shadow of a doubt that Brees will absolutely be in another NFL uniform at the beginning of next season. You said you would bet on it and then disappeared when I tried to hold you to it. Are you still willing to make that bet? I'll make it easy on you. $20 cash. We'll each send it to someone we both trust here on the board. That person then can send the $40 (less postage costs) to the winner ... you if Brees begins the 2018 season on a different NFL roster than the Saints or me if he doesn't start the 2018 season on a different NFL roster than the Saints.

They can always be traded after those two years and we can draft another to groom for trade.

I honestly think his "brand" is extremely important to him. Brees has expressed an interest in politics after his career and moving from where all four of his children were born and raised would be political suicide. Brees could easily win a Louisiana state senate race if he retired as a Saints in a few years. Then he could move on the the U.S. Senate.

The saints have finally rebuilt the starting OL Depth still needs to be addressed

But hope really returned the day Rob was shown the door and DA took over.

Now with Delvin coming back and barring any other injuries by Dec, we should have a better idea what DA is trying to do. A healthy Delvin and a healthy Marshon should give DA a freedom he has yet felt in the secondary.
