Saints defense has been on fire through last three games, and must keep it going

The New Orleans Saints are 3-2, and currently sit second in the NFC South. If the playoffs were to start today, Sean Payton’s team would hold the 6th seed and coincidentally play their division rival, the Carolina Panthers. While the NFL season is still a bit young, there’s a lot of football to played to decide who will compete for Super Bowl LII.
In the article it breaks down a bunch of interesting facts between the games!

On fire? or taking advantage of offenses misfiring? I can not drink the kool aid just yet.

The moment of truth on this defense was determined on how they handled the lions, to put a period at the end will be determine how they progress through the season & how they dismantle the Falcons offense. As of now, I am on the bandwagon. Before they drop Harris from starter, it's amazing how I was ready to get rid of the whole coaching staff including Payton, now I am eating crow and loving it, serve me up some more with a side of Falcons

I understand this sentiment against Cutler and what we thought was a injured Cam Newton (off season shoulder surgery). But then Cam comes up with not one but two stellar performances back to back and the defensive performance against them all of a sudden looked a lot more legit.

Than Detroit happens.

I'm sorry but if you can't get on board after Sunday, then you may never get on board.

Plus we play Hundley, Trubiski and Winston (who is regressing this season), then Buffalo.

So you may not be coming around for a while if level of competition is your benchmark.

Maybe after we make Cousins look bad in week 11?

Isn't that what on-fire defenses do? While very hopeful, I do agree it's way too early for any Koolaid (I'd prefer mine vodka flavored please.). Plenty of time yet to start snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...

They are still refining but they are absolutely better than what we had last year. Are they in the top 20? I don't think so but they do not have to be. Slightly worse than average and we could sneak into the playoffs.

What's happening is the coverage is finally good and it's allowing us to be very aggressive blitzing more times than not.

I'd say the Saints have probably blitzed at a higher percentage than any other team in the NFL over the last 3 weeks.
