What we learned from Saints' 26-17 win at Green Bay

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Crawley missed/flubbed at least 3 tackles in first quarter. We all saw it. Here's my take: guy's been solid and a great tackler till then. I wonder if he's hurt? Shoulder? concussion? Or has he been talking to Deion Sanders????...

While I can agree that was a "whiff" on an attempted tackle by Crawley, I do think he has been good in coverage over the last few weeks. In today's NFL, sometimes I think it gets in a defensive players head that he can't really touch a QB close to the sideline. Not making excuses but just a thought I had.

As Diz stated in another post, you better believe he will be called out for it by Dennis Allen in film study.

Don't overlook the Bears - they just beat the Panthers with four completed passes!!!

And they've gone the distance (last play) in some of their losses!!!

Understood but the rookie went 4 of 7 for 107 yards. WTH??

Good luck with that one on Sunday in the dome. Especially going against a hot defensive team that can create turnovers, get to the QB and take pick 6's to the house on any given pass play.

I hope he throws in Latt's direction.

That also describes the Bears defense.

True dat but #9 is under center in NO. I expect him to rebound in a big way inside the dome. No disrespect to the Bears, I just think the Saints (black/gold glasses are off) are a more complete team on both sides of the ball.

Jim Harbaugh and Da Bears did it to the Dome Patrol back on 27 OCT 1991; I was at that game!!!

Harbaugh went 5 for 22 for 61 PaYD!!! Vince Buck had 2 INT off of Harbaugh, but if I remember right, Jimbo completed 4 for 4 on the last drive and the Bears won 20-17 in the Dome...

Everyone wanted to kill Carl Smith, but we years later we learned it was Jim Mora, Sr who was scared to trust Hebert to pass the ball...
