I gotta tell you I was worried that this might happen. I was hoping that a change of scenary would change a players attitude but I guess you can\'t. Maybe GB was right in dealing him? Maybe the Saints anticipated this and dropped Pathon to free up space for this. Pathon was in the 3 mill contract range and Mckenzie is certainly worth more then Pathon was. Hope we get something done that doesn\'t kill our cap long term.

Saints\' general manager Mickey Loomis indicated last year that he was willing to renegotiate McKenzie\'s deal
loomis did commit to redoing a new contract with him when he came over. i would hold him to it too if i was mc.

Like I said in the other thread about this, it\'s just posturing. Rosenhaus is known for holding his clients out of voluntary workouts when searching for a new deal, a deal which McKenzie was promised when he came over anyway. McKenzie will be there for regular mandatory workouts. It\'s the same thing Plax B. did in Pittsburgh last year cause of Rosenhaus, nothing to be concerned over. IF it was a big deal we all know McKenzie has no problem going to the papers like he did in Green Bay, and he hasn\'t.
