Red McCombs to buy Saints?

Word is Red McCombs, after he sells the Vikings, might try to buy the New Orleans Saints from fellow car dealer and pal Tom Benson and move them to his home city of San Antonio. After next season, Benson can get out of his Louisiana Superdome lease by paying $81 million.

It would surely suck if this happened, but the one bright spot is, I live in San Antonio. ;)

sheesh, must be the dregs of nfl ownership deals. why can\'t we get a mark cuban?

i\'ve heard this rumor before-and then the oposite that the spurs were going to new orleans.

Yeah I wouldn\'t buy this...

One the NFL owners approve such things... They are wanting new blood in the league and don\'t see them allowing someone to move back in...

i wonder if the truly elite wealthy owners are tired of used car millionaires that couldn\'t afford to buy into the league at today\'s prices?
