Saints special teams coordinator Bradford Banta and assistant special teams coach Kevin O'Dea were both at practice Wednesday, so it appears Westhoff is simply an addition to the staff already in place.

Punt and KO returns are one of the few flaws I see in the Saints right now; another being the use of our TEs.

Not sure it has as much to do the use of the TE but rather the quality of the TE we have.

Fleener is over paid and going to be even more of a cap pain next year.

Hill is Flash in the pan each and every year and can replace Fleener limited impact

Hoomanawanui I can accept the pay and does what he is suppose to.

In somewhat of a defense for Fleener he did have some big shoes to fill as the replacement for Graham but I do agree with your points on our TEs.

Imagine how much more dangerous the Saints could be if they sprinkle a few KO/punt returns in!

The return game is obviously an issue, need to also keep an eye on Wil Lutz. In the last 4 games, 3 of those games has a missed extra point. That to me is a major area of concern.

Shoot, Graham couldn't even fill Graham's shoes. I much prefer who is catching the balls now as to who wasn't in Jimmy's last couple of years with us.

Two things. The blocking on FG's and XP's has been concerning. Plus, the punt returners never seem to field the ball cleanly. Maybe he can help in those area's.
