According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, pass-rusher Alex Okafor suffered a torn Achilles and is lost for the season.
Okafor was carted off late during yesterday’s win over Washington.

+1 & I know you meant Hendrickson ;). Trey now has the opportunity he's hoped for all of his life. Based on his past performances, he'll get most of Okafor's snaps. Good news for us is that he's already performed well as a rookie. Then add in Kikaha & Muhammad to the mix.

Having Lattimore on the field is paramount. Hopefully we get Klein and Kenny V on Sunday. We saw their value of not being on the field yesterday.

Devante Harris needs to have a seat on Sunday if at all possible. He's terrible.

We have been extremely lucky so far this year with injuries but this one is going to hurt. He meant a lot more to that defense than most realize.

Looking at the rest of our schedule, the only good LT we’ll be going against is Andrew Whitworth next week. The rest of the regular season there will be pretty nice match-ups for Hendrickson, Kikaha, etc.

This is a tough loss...I am being selfish because I know it is tougher for him. The one game in this winning stretch that we really need a healthy D and we have some definite out's and some maybe outs

I could tell the way the trainers were looking at his ankle that he may have torn his Achilles. Poor fella! I don't think we have a person on the roster who can do what he does

Injuries suck for everyone but one way to combat this is to RUN THE BALL. Rams are ranked 29th defending the run. Let the O line maul, create lanes for Ingram/Kamara & keep our defense off the field.

No need for shoot outs. Just wear em down.

This is why I pitched the Tony McDaniel signing. Run stuffer. Maybe if Lattimore and Klein's ankles were healthy. That's a weak spot with a rookie DE/Kikaha on a fragile knee, and Mauti. I'd run right at that with Gurley.

Yep. I don't like the idea of Kikaha getting more than 20 snaps a game defending the run. The last thing we need is him going at it with a 300 lb lineman all game. His knees wouldn't hold up ... especially after 3 ACL tears.
