He's a special player. A difference maker on any given play. Kickoffs, RB in the slot, lined up as a WR etc.

Kamara had a terrific season. Special player.

Suspect he'll be our primary returner in the playoffs; we have quick strike capability but are struggling on 3rd downs...

Starting at the 40 could mean at least 3pts instead of punting from the 50...

New Orleans hadn't returned a kick for a touchdown since Courtney Roby's 97-yard return for a score against the Rams on Nov. 15, 2009.

That’s what I thought but I was sure I was forgetting one because there’s no way it’s been 8 years. That had to have been the longest drought in the league.

Only thing that bothers me is how could Payton not know in training camp Kamara was our best option over Peterson. Maybe he did but wanted visibility on Peterson for a trade? Hard to say but even early on everyone could see Kamara was the better RB in our system.

And Nickie Saban could not hold on to him at Bama. He was arguably the best of the Bama RB class that recruiting year. Good for the Saints, however. Kamara possesses the kind of vision that makes a difference.

SP mentioned it months ago, addressed it and moved on. It was a low cost exploration with huge upside however it simply didn't work out.
