Sunday will be first indoor road playoff game for Brees while w/ the Saints

Realized this today while reading different threads about the Divisional playoffs.

Hopefully every game Brees plays in before September will be indoors!

We are built to play in a dome. Our defense and running game will help in cold weather but we should perform best inside away from the elements.

The problem will be how loud it is in their dome. It is usually good for a false start or two and even a possible off sides. It works that way for us at home in the Super Dome.

We discussed that in another thread. The Saints had the fewest false starts in the entire league with only SIX. The league average is 16.22 for the season. The Vikings have only drawn 16 total from their opponents which is slightly lower than the league average.

The Vikings do not have near as loud a crowd as does the Saints.

That may be true BUT they are loud & they are a football smart crowd. They raise Hell for the opponent & then become almost silent when their team comes to the line.

I didn't realise that the new Vikings stadium was a dome!

Well at least that makes the weather conditions a non-factor!
