Do you all realize that this year we are going to see Deuce break the all-time rushing record, Joe Horn break the all time recieving TD record and challenge for the record in receptions and yards, and Aaron Brooks is going to become the teams All-time leader in TD passes? I know that none of us are happy with the way the team has played the last few years, but we have witnessed the teams best offensive output in the team's history. Once again, i know that doesnt say much but I think it is pretty cool. Goes to show how sad the history of this franchise is and how much more we expect from our players.

Careful...statements like this can cause you to be put into the \"pessimist\" group. According to Danno, that makes you a loser. Of course, when it comes to being a Saint fan, isn\'t that what we have been all these years....losers?

if history is sad, ignore it! there is nothig to be learned from it. do not dwell on what has been or how things might appear to be. next season will be beautiful. \"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!\" says the wizard.

It has been very fortunate the past few years that none of the aforementioned players have not suffered severe injury. Deuce was definitely hobbled up last year, tough Horn plays through a lot of aches, and AB should have sat with the shoulder. The laws of probability means that depth should be all the more a priority. i like smith added with stecker, wr\'s just need stallworth and henderson to step up a level each, but behind center is scary if AB goes down. i wouldn\'t mind a surprise qb draft pick even as high as the 2nd round (especially if having 2 that rd.) to provide a better alternative muchless maybe a little heat on the incumbent.

AB has been very durable, and I\'m starting to think that the FO just dosen\'t want another Jake situation. I\'d also hate to give up a pick, when many competent reserves are around every season. when people talk about spending 2s and even 1s, I wince.

I\'m hoping this team can put their focus and consistency together, so we can enjoy these records falling. I don\'t want Horn to go out like Barry Sanders or Moulds will.

AB\'s stats match up with many elite QBs, but they have winning records.
See: Favre..Brady...Aikman

Maybe the best overall offense on a regular basis but we cannot compare to the year that we sent 4 starters on offense to the pro bowl -- Archie -- Chuck cocaine Muncie -- Wes Chandler and the TE.

Bentley, Deuce and Horn can easily go. Mayberry has been there, and we can\'t count out Donte and AB. Sending another 4 isn\'t out of the question.

Anyway, the Pro Bowl is nothing more than the People\'s Choice Award, so I\'d rather judge today\'s O by stats and Ws.

hey whodi, sic\'em... AB mentioned in the same sentence with Farve, Brady, Aikman. LOL

i think even billy will admit that AB is closer to Neil Lomax #10 all time passer rating than Johnny Unitas #38 in reality.

i mentioned a 2nd cuz i think andrew walter will be better than aaron rodgers. probably will be gone by #82, hence using #40.

That\'s right, looking at the raw production, with comparable O talent around them. Plus, the Cowgirls and Pats had top 5 Ds.

AB has ended up 7th in QB rating before, and has a lot of years left to make his mark.

The wins are/were the same 8-8 -- the stats show that the offense that year I mentioned was better --- they led the league in yards and total points -- and by the way -- could go and all going the same year is awesome -- name a year that a team that went 8-8 (heck name any year) where onme team placed 4 skill positions in the probowl -- When the QB, RB, WO and TE all go thats a pretty good sign that the offense was operating on all cylinders
