This alone makes me consider bringing Jimmy Graham back to New Orleans

While the Saints finished 5th in Red Zone scoring this year at 61%, (down 6% from 2016). In road games this season, we finished 57%.

There is a clear need for an upgrade at TE. We have a stud WR1 and Ginn is a solid #2.

Would Graham at the right price be enough to put our red zone offense at the very top?

Would he be worth having for 2-3 more years while Drew is here?

As Graham seeks to reignite his career, teams will undoubtedly be intrigued by his performance in the red zone this year. At the close of the regular season, no player in the game saw as many red zone targets (27) or contested red zone targets (13) than Graham, and he thrived in those contested situations, producing a catch rate of 61.5 percent and generating a passer rating of 107.4, both of which ranked first among all tight ends.

If he is willing to take the pay of a TE, then I'd be happy to see him back.

A 31 year old TE with injury history and consecutive down seasons, to be exact.

This would be a good signing at the right price. The Saints have not had a dominant TE since he was traded and maybe he's a bit more humble than when he left.

Who Jimmy Dickens? IIRC he's missed only 5 games in 5 seasons.

Of course. This guy would be a huge boost on 3rd down and inside the red zone. Even at 31, he's still a dangerous target to have at your disposal.

I'd rather draft one.

The relationship ended with a rancid stench. Not going to happen.

Rancid to whom? Maybe a few fans.
