Saints pick up Andrus Peat's fifth-year option on rookie deal

No brainer. Peat was a key cog in our offensive line success last season (pre injury). Solid contributor who has worked his butt off ... he was mauling folks in 2017.

3 years later (true evaluation of a draft pick) this was a solid selection in the 2015 draft. Jeff Ireland and co are doing work in the scouting dept.

Actually there were some calling him a bust after his first season. Lol. Hes been great the last couple years. Great development.

He's been playing out of position since he got here...

Most impressed with him last year having practiced at LG only to play LT with a gameday notice because Mr. Glass would tap out...

Does anyone else think he resembles the Brown Hornet? The old Cosby cartoon? I grew up watching the BH, and for whatever reason, Peat reminds me of him.
