just read up on him and i think picking him up may not be a bad idea..he could be somebody that could step in for us and do really good..at the least push leon to tighten up..anybody know where i could get some video on him?

Just heard on WWL that Hebert said Steve DeBerg (who I think coaches this kid in the AFL), said McPhearson is the most impressive 21 year old QB prospect he has ever seen. And he was with the Broncos when Elway was there.

Did we actually strike gold with this kid?

Elway didn\'t have this kid\'s history. If, and that\'s a big if, he can straighten himself out, he could be a wonderful steal.

I compared Bullock to Webster footage an I was amaze how much better Bullock look. I like that closing speed. Too bad they didn\'t have any footage on Fincher. I must admit I like this kid and he will contribute this year on ST.

Great find 4Life. Three things I noticed:

1. AMac looked to be pretty fundamentally sound. Good footwork, good patience. But he looked so much like Aaron Brooks it was scary.
2. Anybody notice Talman Gardner going across the middle and making a great catch in traffic and then getting nailed? Where was that last year? He had some really bad drops last season.
3. It was painful to watch my Demon Deacons getting ripped up like that, but I guess we\'re not what you would consider a \"football school.\"

The highlight reels make everyone look good. I even liked what i saw from Lymann. Brown and Bullocks impressed. Wish they had move viideo on Bullocks making tackles. We know he can get int, but how does he tackle?

Let it be known that I realize some of these highlights were against Duke, but I saw the same thing LoE.

Adrian really moves his feet around well and gets them in the right position. He even did the AB turnaround and executed it much faster. AB has long strides that often make it hard for him to get going. Adrian seems to get his feet pumping faster ala McNabb.

Of course the package makes the kid look good, but I like the techniques illustrated as much as the results. There\'s a big difference between seeing good technique and saying...wow, he really tore it up against Wake.

Nice highlight. But I agree with whoever said highlights are designed to make that draftee look good. That being said, the play I liked was when he did scramble, I think it was the second one, he kept his head upfield looking for a receiver and threw a strike on the run. He aslo seemed to have soem nice touch on fade routes. Not too bad.
