I hope they aren't thinking OL or DL or TE or LB or QB or DB, etc. I hope they do what they have done the past two seasons and select whatever player, regardless of position, that is at the very top of their board based upon their overall evaluations.

We're in a different wheelhouse than a year ago personnel-wise, so need is actually much more important to round out the roster...

But in sync with what you're saying, if value's not there at 27, that is, we're not improving a position, then move up or down...

How do you really truly know if there is value or not, however?

I have this sneaking suspicion that they are selecting Lamar Jackson, trading up if need be...

I really hope I'm wrong!

Based on your scouting, grades, and your groupings (i.e. clouds)...

So you're prepared to draft, you have about five possibilities all with comparable grades to select...

If it gets close and your guys aren't there, you move back...

Or if a member of a higher grade group is there and is falling, you jump back in and take him (i.e. Kamara)...

I could see Lamar in the mix but no longevity in that style.

First Round Picks should be your 10+ years with the team guys...

Remind me how long did RGIII last with the Redskins before they went with their fourth round pick (Cousins) from the same draft?

At least Shanahan kept a back up plan in place..

Center or Guard. We have no depth and when Strief went down Ram was a god send. Armstead is in and out of games. Peat broke his leg last year and may not be in shape either. Unger is 32 and missed all of last preseason. As the offensive line goes so goes the team........you win in the trenches.
